Lay’s is getting into the specialty liquor game with a new potato vodka for the holiday season. The Pepsico-owned (PEP) brand unveiled the limited-edition booze on Thursday, in an effort to deliver “new and innovative ways to bring joy and fun” to fans, according to Melissa Miranda, Frito-Lay North America’s senior director of marketing. New weekly jobless claims ticked up slightly last week to hold near a 52-year low. The Labor Department released its latest weekly jobless claims report Thursday at 8:30 a.m. ET. Google still ran ads on climate denial, despite promising to stop

Google has struggled to uphold its recent pledge to stop running ads on content that promotes climate change denial, according to a new report from the nonprofit Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH). Internet giant Google announced today that it has made the first investment from its Africa Investment Fund in Ugandan super app SafeBoda.
