Yahoo DFS Basketball: Friday Picks

The NBA closes out the work week with nine games on the schedule Friday. There is the potential for a couple of lopsided affairs when the Bucks play the Rockets and the Lakers take on the Thunder. Chase Claypool wasted precious time celebrating

Chase Claypool might have put himself further in Mike Tomlin’s doghouse. The Steelers star wideout drew his head coach’s ire early in Thursday night’s game against the Minnesota Vikings when he drew a 15-yard penalty for unnecessary roughness. Tomlin benched him for a few plays, hoping to send a message.  It appears the message didn’t work.  The Steelers had a chance to force overtime on their final drive of the game, down 36-28. No. 3 UConn fell to Georgia Tech 57-44 on Thursday night in their first game without Bueckers, who suffered a tibial plateau fracture and is expected to miss six-to-eight weeks. That loss snapped a number of records and streaks for UConn. Georgia Tech is now the first team to hold UConn to less than 45 points in a single game since 2006, and the Yellow Jackets are the first unranked team to beat the Huskies since 2012 — which snapped a… Source link

Love for Kobe Bryant should’ve prevented crash-site photos

Grief and loss are intensely personal. Those who remain after a loved one dies process it in their own way and in their own time. Having to do that as the widow of one of the most famous athletes of the last 50 years complicates things in a way perhaps no one else can understand. Add in losing one of your children with losing that spouse, and it can make one’s heart ache. Vanessa Bryant has more than enough to deal with. It’s been nearly two years since the stop-you-in-your-tracks news came that… Source link
