Mr. Irrelevant is Iowa State Brock Purdy, who went to 49ers

One of the biggest stories from the first two rounds of the NFL draft was the lack of quarterbacks being selected. Only one went in the first two rounds. It was a bit funny that the 2022 NFL draft ended with a quarterback being picked. The 49ers owned the final pick, 262nd overall. It was a compensatory pick, one of nine extra picks at the end of the seventh round. They took quarterback Brock Purdy from Iowa State. What happened at Warren Buffett’s annual meeting

OMAHA, Neb. — A remake of “Empire State of Mind” with lyrics about Berkshire Hathaway, greeted shareholders this morning. It’s always a bit tricky, figuring out when to draft a punter or kicker. Those positions are obviously valuable. Ask a team that has a shaky kicker or a subpar punter how much angst that causes. Route 66 is the star of today’s Google Doodle

(CNN) — Google knows where to get its kicks… The search engine’s latest Google Doodle celebrates the historic cross-country highway Route 66. The artwork is an animated video composed of over 100 paintings and sketches by Google art director Matthew Cruickshank while on a road trip.
