Yahoo to remove online hate content in Japan

ANKARA

American web services provider Yahoo will remove “hateful and defamatory” content uploaded online in Japan.

The company said it will use artificial intelligence to remove such content, the Japanese news agency Kyodo News reported.

“We will make all-out efforts to deter and curb harmful posts,” said Kentaro Kawabe, president of Z Holdings Corp., the parent company of Yahoo Japan.
