Starbucks (SBUX) fired seven workers at a Memphis location, in the midst of an increasingly acrimonious battle over a unionization drive that’s widened to dozens of cities. Yahoo Japan Corp. said it will allow its 8,000 workers to live and commute from anywhere in Japan, even by air, starting from April.
