The PGA TOUR heads to TPC San Antonio for this week’s Valero Texas Open. It’s a short journey for the stars in the field who played in Austin last week. They will return to the Lone Star State in May. There is plenty of course history to lean on this week as TPC San Antonio has hosted here since 2010. The cutline carnage should continue this week as the TOUR hops from one water-heavy course to another. The Honda Classic takes place at PGA National’s Champion Course which has water in play on 15 holes. The field averages roughly 2.36 double bogeys or worse per 72 holes at this week’s venue.
