Raiders RB Kenyan Drake out for season with broken ankle

Las Vegas Raiders running back Kenyan Drake suffered a broken ankle in their 17-15 loss to the Washington Football Team on Sunday, according to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Drake will miss the rest of the season. Drake went down midway through the second quarter at Allegiant Stadium when he was stuffed at the line of scrimmage after a handoff near midfield. As he went down, Drake’s right leg was caught by a Washington defender and could be seen bending awkwardly under the pile. Drake… Source link

Tua Tagovailoa, Dolphins battle Raiders on Yahoo Sports app

Raiders TE Darren Waller honors late Ravens teammate Lorenzo Taliaferro

A touchdown on Thursday night meant a little extra for Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller. Waller soon got up and made a “3” and “4” gesture with his hands, though the angle made it hard to see. The meaning wasn’t immediately apparent to Fox’s broadcasters, but one of Waller’s old teammates with the Baltimore Ravens immediately saw the tribute to… Source link

With the game tied at 14-14 in the second quarter, Raiders quarterback Derek Carr audibled out of a first-down play near midfield, clearly calling the name of the 2018 NBA MVP for NBC cameras and microphones to document. He then handed the ball off to running back Devontae Booker, who ran… Source link

Raiders owner Mark Davis calls fines ‘draconian’

In a season full of times the NFL has come down hard on teams violating its COVID-19 safety protocols, the league dropped its biggest hammer so far this year on the Las Vegas Raiders. The NFL has fined the Raiders $500,000 and head coach Jon Gruden $150,000 for “repeat offenses” against the protocols, according to Yahoo Sports’ Charles Robinson. Las Vegas will also lose a 2021 sixth-round pick. You won’t be surprised to hear that Raiders owner Mark Davis is not a fan of that news and… Source link
