In the afterglow of the NFL draft, everyone thinks their team’s rookie class will work out great. If you have multiple first-round picks, the sky is the limit. Mark Davis says that he would welcome Colin Kaepernick to the Las Vegas Raiders “with open arms.” Meanwhile, the Raiders have Nick Mullens and Garrett Gilbert backing up quarterback Derek Carr. The Las Vegas Raiders and their quarterback Derek Carr have reportedly agreed to a three-year, $121.5 million contract extension. Carr is the longest tenured quarterback in the AFC, and now he’ll be extending his stay to at least 2025. According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Carr is now set to make over $140 million in the next four years, with $100 million coming to him in the next three. The Green Bay Packers have agreed to trade wide receiver Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders, according to multiple reports. The Packers will receive the Raiders’ 2022 first- and second-round draft picks, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Adams will sign a new contract in Las Vegas worth $141.25 million over five years for an average value $28.25 million per year. The Las Vegas Raiders‘ decision to kick a late field goal was debatable. Cincinnati Bengals bettors won’t debate it.  With 3:37 left, the Raiders trailed 26-16 in Saturday’s AFC wild-card game. Nate Hobbs was reportedly arrested hours after the Raiders beat the Colts. Las Vegas police confirmed the arrest following a TMZ report. The Cleveland Browns have nothing to be ashamed of.  They lost on Monday, but there wasn’t much they could do. The Browns had 18 players, including eight starters, on the COVID-19 list. They were down to third-string quarterback Nick Mullens, who was signed from the practice squad on Thursday and finally got to practice with the first-team offense on Saturday.
