SAN FRANCISCO — Philadelphia 76ers guard Danny Green couldn’t wait to see Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson back on the court after over two years away from the game due to recovering from a torn ACL, followed by a ruptured Achilles a year later. The New Orleans Saints were very much alive for a playoff spot on Sunday afternoon, but their hopes of doing anything in the playoffs looked a lot murkier before they knew if they’d made the postseason.  The Saints lost quarterback Taysom Hill to a Lisfranc injury to his foot, New Orleans coach Sean Payton told Fox sideline reporter Laura Okmin. Teddy Bridgewater has been through so much already in his NFL career. Seeing him get carted off, strapped to a backboard, was a scary sight Sunday afternoon.  Bridgewater suffered a head injury in the third quarter of the Denver Broncos‘ game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Friday night was a tough one for Anthony Davis. The Los Angeles Lakers star, after rolling his ankle early in the night at the Target Center, left L.A.’s 110-92 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves early after suffering a left knee contusion. Orlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. was taken off the court in a wheelchair after suffering what looked like a serious right knee injury in their 115-105 loss to the Miami Heat on Friday night.
