Rafael Nadal has withdrawn from his Wimbledon semifinal match versus Nick Kyrgios with an abdominal tear. Nadal announced the decision in a news conference Thursday. Gordon Hayward won’t be available for the postseason play-in tournament this week. The Charlotte Hornets announced on Sunday that Hayward will be out indefinitely due to discomfort in his left foot. Awful news broke Monday that Fernando Tatis Jr. fractured his wrist during the offseason and is likely to undergo surgery that will cost him up to three months. The New Orleans Saints were very much alive for a playoff spot on Sunday afternoon, but their hopes of doing anything in the playoffs looked a lot murkier before they knew if they’d made the postseason.  The Saints lost quarterback Taysom Hill to a Lisfranc injury to his foot, New Orleans coach Sean Payton told Fox sideline reporter Laura Okmin.
