Miami has moved on from Manny Diaz, opening the door for Mario Cristobal to come back from Oregon. Diaz was informed of his dismissal during a Monday morning meeting with Miami’s president, sources told Yahoo Sports’ Pete Thamel. Drug tests are no longer required for most jobs in the municipal offices for Isle, Minnesota, a small town tucked on the southeastern corner of the Mille Lacs Lake. The reason? Shortly after Anfernee Penny Hardaway announced that he was staying at Memphis on Tuesday, news broke of a prominent hire on his coaching staff.  The Athletic’s Jeff Goodman and Shams Charania reported that Hall of Fame coach Larry Brown will join Hardaway’s staff as an assistant coach.  Hardaway has coached his hometown Memphis Tigers for the last three seasons.
