Sam Howell’s time at North Carolina has come to an end. After three seasons as UNC’s starting quarterback, Howell announced Saturday that he is moving onto the NFL. The NBA and Wilson Sporting Goods Co. unveiled the new official game ball that will be used starting with the 2021-22 season on Thursday, ending a 37-year partnership with Spalding.
