U.S. stocks were mixed on Tuesday morning ahead of corporate earnings from some of the market’s biggest players.
The S&P 500 (^GSPC) inched higher 0.2% while the Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI) ticked down by 0.1%. The technology-heavy Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC) up by 0.6%.
Stocks gained on Monday, as the major indices rallied ahead of a slew of third-quarter earnings this week.
