As votes come in, the race is on to 270 electoral college votes. The first candidate to hit that mark will be the US president for the next four years.
The biggest prizes up for grabs are Florida’s 29 electoral votes, Pennsylvania’s 20 electoral votes, as well as Georgia, North Carolina and Ohio at 16, 15 and 18 respectively.
