Residents of Greece’s island of Crete have been baffled by a mysterious creature that recently washed ashore during a storm.
The creature was spotted near a river in Gournes, a famous tourist area in Crete, after days of bad weather that hit the entire coastal front of the municipality of Hersonissos.
The oddity can be seen in online images lying on the sand seemingly unable to move, and surrounded by debris and other random objects swept away from the water.
