Google rolls out end-to-end encryption for Gmail on web: What we know

Google has been working on an end-to-end encryption for Gmail on the web. Now the tech giant has rolled out a beta version of the update which ensures sensitive data in email bodies unreadable to everyone other than the sender and receiver.

Not only the content on the email but also the attachments will be readable to even Google servers with the end-to-end encryption rolling out for Gmail on the web.
