2.58 million pounds of Conagra Brands canned meat, poultry recalled for packaging defect

Conagra Brands is recalling more than 2.58 million pounds of canned meat and poultry products due to a packaging defect that may cause the food to become contaminated, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service said on Tuesday.

The defect could cause the products to become contaminated “without showing any outward signs of contamination,” FSIS said.
