STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Yahoo Answers, one of the longest-running internet question-and-answer platforms, will permanently shut down on May 4, the company recently announced.
The platform will be in read-only mode starting April 20, before it is completely shut down on May 4.
Once it’s shut down, the Yahoo Answers website will redirect users to the Yahoo homepage, and all of the Q&A archives will no longer be available.
