A woman who borrowed a library book has made a surprising find inside.
Professor Joey Neilsen tweeted his wife borrowed a book of poetry recently from the Carnegie Mellon University Libraries in the US city of Pittsburgh.
But when she opened the book she found someone had already provided a bookmark – a dead snake wrapped in plastic.
