Up to 50 Queensland suburbs are being advised to remain on alert after fragments of Covid-19 were detected in four different wastewater plants across the state.
Queensland Health said fragments of SARS-CoV-2 were detected at Cairns North, Marlin Coast (Cairns), Fairfield (Brisbane South) and Mackay South wastewater treatment plants. Those plants service a total of 50 Queensland suburbs.
