Tesla (TSLA) shares jumped for a fourth straight session on Monday, bringing the market capitalization for the electric-vehicle maker above $1 trillion for the first-time ever.
The stock closed higher by 12.7% to reach $1,024.86 per share. Tesla’s year-to-date advance came in at nearly 45.2%, with the stock outperforming against the S&P 500’s 21.6% rise over that same period.
