The San Francisco 49ers running back ran, caught and passed for a touchdown against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 8. The last player to do that was running back LaDanian Tomlinson for the then-San Diego Chargers in 2005. On the heels of a huge upset over Texas A&M, Appalachian State looked like it was going to fall back down to earth with a disappointing home loss to Troy. But then something miraculous happened. When Baker Mayfield’s in the driver’s seat, buckle up. Mayfield’s Cleveland Browns knocked off the Jacksonville Jaguars, 27-25, on Sunday afternoon, moving to 8-3 and solidifying a hold on a playoff spot.
