Kevin Durant made quite the statement on Sunday afternoon. Durant returned to the lineup for the Brooklyn Nets one week after suffering a left thigh contusion, and dropped 34 points off the bench in their 128-119 win against the Phoenix Suns at the Barclays Center. Kevin Durant has been ruled out of the rest of Sunday afternoon’s game against the Miami Heat after suffering a left thigh contusion, the Brooklyn Nets announced.  Durant slowly left the bench area for the locker room during the first quarter. His left thigh appeared to slam into Miami’s Trevor Ariza on a drive to the basket.  He was examined by a trainer on the sideline before heading to the locker room.  After Miami’s 109-107 win, Nets head coach Steve Nash was unsure of Durant’s status… Source link
