(Bloomberg) — Stocks are extending a global rally on the clearest sign of progress yet in developing a vaccine to stem the Covid-19 pandemic. Futures on the S&P 500 jumped 3% after news that the vaccine being developed by Pfizer Inc. and BioNTech SE prevented more than 90% of infections in a study of tens of thousands of volunteers.
