Chilling video has emerged of prisoners removing the bodies of patients who have died from Covid-19 as hospitals in Texas become overwhelmed by the rising fatalities. The footage, shared on Twitter by American epidemiologist Eric Feigl-Ding, shows inmates wheeling out the bodies into truck containers which are acting a mobile morgues. Dr Feigl-Ding explained the truck containers were “overflow morgues” and there were 10 of them parked in the area after the hospital added six more earlier… Source link

Samantha Whiting wanted to show her appreciation for the man who saved her daughter this summer when she was caught in a riptide, and although she only knew his first name and where he lived, Whiting was determined to track him down. Starting today, Google Maps can show you directions using rented bikes from docked bike-share schemes like Citi Bike in New York City or Santander Cycles in London. It works by giving walking directions to get to a nearby dock, cycling directions to get from one dock to another, and finally walking directions once more to get from the dock to your destination. Google appears to have fixed an issue with Google Discover that was preventing large image previews being displayed for non-AMP pages. This is a follow-up to a previous story back in April in which we reported Google was aware of the issue and working on a fix. Search Engine Journal’s lead developer, Vahan Petrosyan, initially brought this issue to Google’s attention and now informs me it has been resolved.
