(Reuters) -Shares of Meta Material Inc gave up premarket gains to fall 20% on Monday, the first day of trading after a merger that saw the niche hi-tech materials maker swallow Torchlight Energy Resources, which was at the center of huge speculative bets by small individual traders. Software startup Sprinklr shares fall in NYSE debut, valued at $3.7 billion

23andMe shares rise 21% on first day of trading on Nasdaq

Shares of 23andMe (ME) rose 21% to close at $13.32 apiece in their trading debut on the Nasdaq as the consumer genetic testing company became one of the latest companies to go public via SPAC deal.  The public debut comes after 23andMe and the special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) VG Acquisition Corp. announced a merger in February. GameStop shares fall as ‘investors are getting tired of waiting,’ analyst says

Online traders have found new targets during this week’s “meme stock” resurgence.  Geo Group (GEO), a company that owns and manages private prisons, saw shares soar by as much as 73% intraday on Wednesday for the stock’s biggest one-day gain on record.
