Yahoo Plays and Strategy for Saturday, January 14

This week has been wild. The injuries have run rampant through the league, and it’s caused some chaos in DFS circles. Injuries help us build lineups, but watching essential players go down night after night is frustrating. We want to see the best players suiting up, and it sucks to watch so many teams play shorthanded. In any case, we have some recommendations due to those injuries, so let’s start there! Guards Malcolm Brogdon, BOS at CHA ($18) Brogdon has always been an elite fantasy producer… Source link

Yahoo Plays and Lineup Strategy for Saturday, January 14

Saturday is a massive day for the NHL. There are 13 games on the docket in the evening. That’s a ton of hockey, which means a bunch of options for your DFS lineups. To try and help you sift through your choices, here are the players I’d target, and avoid, on the DFS front Saturday. GOALIE Marc-Andre Fleury, MIN vs. ARI ($32): It seems like the Wild may be getting into a goalie rotation between Fleury and Filip Gustavsson, and if so, Fleury is up. He’s been strong recently, posting a 2.38 GAA… Source link

Yahoo Plays and Lineup Strategy for Saturday, January 7

Last time it was Saturday, we were ringing in the new year. Now we’re here in 2023 with seven NHL games this Saturday night. Here are some players to target, and a handful to avoid, for your DFS lineups. GOALIE Matt Murray, TOR vs. DET ($36): Murray got off to a hot start for the Leafs, and while he’s slipped a bit lately, he still has a 2.61 GAA and .913 save percentage. Saturday, assuming he’s in net, he’ll get the Red Wings and their below-average offense on the second leg of a… Source link

Yahoo Plays and Strategy for Saturday, January 7

There’s something crazy going on in the NBA right now. We’re getting to a point where these defenses can’t match up with the offenses, leading to ridiculous stat lines. We’ve had more 40-point games than ever, and we have to assume they’ll keep rolling in with how special these guys are on the offensive end. That said, we only have four games on Saturday’s slate, leaving fewer opportunities to hit that threshold. Even so, there’s still plenty to discuss, so let’s get started with one of my… Source link

Yahoo Plays and Strategy for Week 16 Saturday Baller

The NFL main slate for Week 16 will take place Saturday rather than Sunday, with 10 games scheduled after 1:00 p.m. EST on Saturday. Bye weeks have concluded, but the Thursday Night Football (Jets-Jaguars), Saturday night game (Raiders-Steelers) and Monday Night Football (Chargers-Colts) participants are excluded from the main slate, as are the six teams that will play on Christmas Sunday (Packers-Dolphins, Broncos-Rams and Buccaneers-Cardinals). Yahoo will be running plenty of NFL DFS… Source link

Yahoo Plays and Strategy for Week 15 Saturday Baller

Before Yahoo runs its NFL Dual Baller Specials on Sunday, there will be a three-game slate Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m. EST. First, the Colts visit the Vikings, then the Ravens head to Cleveland before the Dolphins and Bills cap things off with a clash of playoff contenders from the AFC East. Saturday’s biggest NFL DFS contest on Yahoo is the Saturday Baller, which pays out a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000 to the top 740 entries, including $10,000 to the winner. You can submit up to 147… Source link

Yahoo Plays and Strategy for Saturday, December 10

This week of basketball has been incredible. Thursday featured the best game I’ve seen all season, with Denver and Portland trading off 14 lead changes in the closing seven minutes of that epic matchup. That was followed up by a fantastic Friday card, with numerous games coming down to the wire. There has also been some chippiness throughout the league, which only makes things better! We love when the players care, and we’ll kick things off with one of the most flamboyant performers in the… Source link

Yahoo Plays and Lineup Strategy for Saturday, December 10

Usually, Saturday is a busy day for the NHL. This week, though, it’s relatively light. Well, at least in the evening. Eschewing the three matinee games, there are five NHL games making up the main slate of DFS contests. Those are the games I am looking at with these recommendations. GOALIE Matt Murray, TOR vs. CGY ($36): This is a tough slate for goalies. Murray has been excellent though, posting a 2.34 GAA and .932 save percentage. The Flames haven’t been terrible, but at 3.08 goals per game… Source link

Yahoo DFS Hockey: Saturday Picks

Hey, I’m a college football fan, but the conference title games this year are a little dodgy on paper. That makes Saturday a perfect night to focus on the NHL, especially with 12 games on the slate. Here are some players to target, and some to avoid, for your DFS lineups. GOALIE Vitek Vanecek, NJD at PHI ($38): Vanecek has been a pleasant surprise, posting a .918 save percentage but also boasting a 2.24 GAA thanks to New Jersey’s stingy defense. A defense need not be elite to stifle the Source link
