Google Chrome has built-in phishing detection that scans pages to see if they match known fake or malicious sites (using more than just the URL, since scammers rotate those more quickly than it can keep up). The Cleveland Rape Crisis Center has received more than 1,000 donations since the Cleveland Browns traded for Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson on Friday, it said on Saturday morning. The University of Miami withdrew on Sunday from its scheduled Sun Bowl appearance against Washington State, citing a COVID-19 outbreak on the roster.  The withdrawal prompted Washington State head coach Jake Dickert to offer to play “any opponent” in the game scheduled for Dec. 31 in El Paso, Texas. A meditation app is making the most of the the Naomi Osaka/French Open controversy.  Calm vowed on Wednesday to make a $15,000 donation to youth sports charity Laureus Sport for Good in Osaka’s name, citing her “decision to prioritize her mental health.” The app also pledged to pay the fines of any player citing mental health issues who skips a news conference during the 2021 Grand Slam season. A coronavirus outbreak among vaccinated players and staff has “” the New York Yankees and attracted the attention of the CDC this week.
