You can now buy the Pixel 4A from Google for just $9 per month over 24 months as part of the new Google Fi phone subscription program. That monthly cost means you’d pay just just $216 for the phone, a substantial savings over its $349 upfront price. After you’ve made all 24 payments, you own the phone. The new Pixel 4a 5G is Google’s cheaper but larger 5G phone, and might just be the best. It is available in black and costs £499, fitting in between the £599 Pixel 5 and the £349 Pixel 4a. While the Pixel 4a 5G shares most of the same internal components with the Pixel 5, the look, feel and black plastic body matches the smaller Pixel 4a, just made larger. On Thursday, the company’s “Made by Google” social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter were updated to show a new background image mentioning the phone, which was spotted by 9to5Google.  The company has also created a special web page on the Google Store that reveals a little more—after you solve a puzzle. Marc Levoy, the researcher who used software to turn Google’s Pixel camera into a powerhouse, has joined Adobe to build a universal camera app, Adobe announced today.
