The Denver Broncos are all-in on quarterback Russell Wilson. Denver traded for Wilson and a few months later, just before Wilson takes his first snaps with his new team, the Broncos paid him a fortune. Denver and Wilson agreed to an extension worth $245 million in new money, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The extension is for five years and includes $165 million guaranteed. Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has agreed to a restructured one-year deal to stay with the San Francisco 49ers, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The contract incudes a no-trade clause and a no-tag clause, per Schefter. The compensation is reportedly $6.5 million fully guaranteed, with another potential $9.5 million in bonuses.
