Ben Simmons isn’t ready to make his debut with the Brooklyn Nets just yet while he’s dealing with a lingering back injury. He will, though, be with the team when they take on his former team on Thursday. Veteran point guard Goran Dragic is joining the Brooklyn Nets, Shams Charania reported for The Athletic on Monday. The auction of Bill Russell memorabilia was a runaway success.  The 87-year-old civil rights icon and 11-time NBA champion auctioned over 400 items from his long and storied career at the TD Garden on Friday.
