Kansas pulled off the biggest comeback in men’s national championship game history to beat North Carolina, 72-69, and win the 2022 NCAA tournament. Villanova is back in the Sweet 16 for the fourth time in the last five men’s NCAA tournaments. The No. 2 Wildcats hung on in the second half to bounce No. 7 Ohio State, 71-61, on Sunday in the South region. After Thursday’s first day of NCAA tournament action, only 14 perfect Yahoo Tourney Pick’Em brackets remained. By Friday afternoon, there were none. Will Wade is officially out as LSU head coach, almost three years to the day after it emerged that he had been caught on an FBI wiretap discussing illegal payments to a recruit. Loyola Chicago isn’t exactly Duke or Kentucky, but the Ramblers are now a familiar name in the NCAA tournament bracket. Loyola Chicago has only been to the NCAA tournament twice since 1985, but it has made both trips count. The first time the Ramblers had one of the most shocking Final Four runs ever, in 2018.
