Google has confirmed it’s shutting down the standalone “Android Auto for Phone Screens” app with Android 12. Yahoo Mobile is shutting down on August 31 as a result of Verizon’s sale of the Yahoo brand to the Apollo Global Management investment firm. Google is shutting down its mobile Shopping apps for both iOS and Android and directing users to its web Shopping site instead, 9to5 Google reported.
