Barry Sanders threatens brewery over beer trolling Lions

A Detroit-area brewery canceled production of a new beer on Monday, one day after it was announced following the threat of legal action from Hall of Famer Barry Sanders. The Eastern Market Brewing Co. announced the “Same Old Lager” on Sunday, a Detroit Lions-themed beverage it made that featured Sanders on the can in an 8-bit version. The Houston Roughnecks had a proud Sunday. The Detroit Lions did not. The Roughnecks, one of the teams in the defunct (for now, the league plans to be back in 2022) second run of the XFL, saw their old quarterback P.J.
