Google and IAB adtech targeted with more RTB privacy complaints – TechCrunch

Another batch of complaints has been filed with European Union data protection agencies urging enforcement action against the adtech industry’s abuse of Internet users’ information to target ads. The complaints argue that behavioural ads are both harmful and unlawful. The Google consent management platform (CMP) Funding Choices will finally integrate with the IAB Europe’s Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF), the collaborative industry solution for passing consent data signals in the supply chain.
