Yahoo Japan is one of the companies leading the way in the work from home revolution, telling its 8,000 employees that they can work from anywhere in the country.  The new policy takes effect April 1. Pending home sales slip in November amid hot housing market

The hot housing market may finally be cooling off a bit. Pending home sales, a leading indicator of the housing market’s health, missed expectations and fell in November. The National Association of Realtors’ (NAR) Pending Home Sales Index, which tracks the number of homes that are under contract to be sold, dropped 2.2% in November from October. Home price growth in the U.S. has slowed for the third straight month. Standard & Poor’s said Tuesday that its S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller national home price index posted a 19.1% annual gain in October, down from 19.7% from September. The 20-City Composite posted a 18.4% annual gain, down from 19.1% a month earlier. One day after his home caught fire, the Philadelphia 76ers guard landed in the NBA’s health and safety protocols, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Keith Pompey.
