Anthony Rizzo is out here teaching life lessons in between at-bats.  The Chicago Cubs first baseman was mic’d up for Saturday’s contest against the St. Louis Cardinals. Tom Brady says one NFL rule change is going to “make for a lot of bad football.”  Brady took the new number rule to task on Instagram on Thursday, saying the regulation would cause problems for offensive linemen. Brady’s specific gripe is that players won’t know who to block now that linebackers can wear any number between 1 and 59 and defensive backs can wear any number between 1 and 49. At least one fan didn’t appreciate LeBron James’ return to Cleveland this week. An Akron, Ohio-area man was thrown out of the Los Angeles Lakers’ 115-108 win over the Cavaliers at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Monday night after he brought several T-shirts that took offensive shots at James, according to Cleveland.com. ESPN’s Maria Taylor opened up on Monday about hate speech her family received in response to her criticism of Buffalo Bills backup quarterback Jake Fromm. Fromm apologized in June after a private text message surfaced online showing Fromm writing that only “elite white people” should have access to guns.
