Jon Gruden is currently suing the NFL over the emails that ended his tenure as head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, but that apparently doesn’t mean he doesn’t regret said emails. Google’s proposed program to help keep campaign emails out of users’ spam folders wouldn’t violate campaign finance laws, the Federal Election Commission said Wednesday. Driving the news: Google in June asked the commission to rule on whether its plan would be considered a sort of contribution to politcial campaigns, as Axios reported. WASHINGTON (Gray DC) – It’s not every day that people check their spam folders – but it could be the destination for dozens of campaign emails intended for your inbox. A North Carolina State University study found that Google has been sending 68 percent of Republican campaign emails to spam – while just 8 percent of Democratic ones met the same fate. Sen. Google is rolling out a new feature in its Docs that’s designed to make it easier to use its word processor to draft emails, the company has announced. It’s part of Google’s “smart canvas” initiative, which aims to seamlessly weave together the search giant’s productivity software like Meet, Docs, and Gmail.
