Even in a sweep, Nikola Jokic‘s MVP season ended earlier than expected. With his team down 3-0 in the Western Conference semifinals, the Denver Nuggets star was ejected from Game 4 for a flagrant 2 foul. The New Orleans Pelicans picked up a wild win over the Boston Celtics on Sunday. In the process, they lost shooting guard JJ Redick to one of the more bizarre ejections of the NBA season. In the midst of rallying from a 24-point second-half deficit, Redick picked up a pair of technical fouls that resulted in an early trip to the locker room. A paper co-authored by former Google AI ethicist Timnit Gebru raised some potentially thorny questions for Google about whether AI language models may be too big, and whether tech companies are doing enough to reduce potential risks, according to MIT Technology Review. Baltimore Ravens linebacker Matt Judon is probably looking at a hefty fine after making contact with an official during Sunday’s game. Judon was ejected Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers after making contact with an official during a fight.
