Google Messages users in India have reported receiving a deluge of unwanted ads in recent weeks using Rich Communication Services (RCS), and it seems Google has employed a response strategy: turn them all off. Yandex’s data center in Finland has been cut off the electricity grid as a response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. It is currently running on diesel, according to reports. The popular Vanced YouTube app is being discontinued, after a legal threat from Google. The creators of Vanced have revealed the project will be shut down in the coming days, with download links set to be removed.
