Dropbox was one of the first online file sharing repositories. Unlike competitors like Box.net or Microsoft which have grabbed big enterprise accounts, Dropbox has kept a significant customer base among individuals and small businesses. Google will charge for photos. What about iCloud, Dropbox and others?

After five years of enticing consumers with offers of free photo and video storage, albeit it with a hitch (lower resolution), Google turned its back on consumers Wednesday and says we’ll all have to start paying as of June 1st.  So what other options are out there for us? Sadly, there are few that are free.
