Yahoo Plays and Strategy for Monday, December 12

The NBA starts off the week with seven games on the schedule Monday. Luka Doncic (quadriceps), who did not play Saturday against the Bulls, is expected to return for a matchup against the Thunder. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving sat out for rest against the Pacers on Saturday, but both are expected to be back in action for a battle with the Wizards. As far as exciting matchups go, one of the best games on the slate figures to be the Clippers hosting the Celtics. Let’s dig into the entire slate… Source link

Yahoo Plays and Strategy for Sunday, December 11

The Saturday card was sensational. We had to do a lot of adjustments after some bizarre injury reports, but it was the perfect slate for anyone who pays close attention. Understanding how these rotations and offenses will play out is the most important variable when evaluating DFS, and we have a great read on how these teams look right now. With that in mind, let’s start with a point guard looking at one of the largest usage rates in the NBA. Guards Trae Young, ATL vs. CHI ($42) It’s exciting… Source link

Yahoo Plays and Strategy for Saturday, December 10

This week of basketball has been incredible. Thursday featured the best game I’ve seen all season, with Denver and Portland trading off 14 lead changes in the closing seven minutes of that epic matchup. That was followed up by a fantastic Friday card, with numerous games coming down to the wire. There has also been some chippiness throughout the league, which only makes things better! We love when the players care, and we’ll kick things off with one of the most flamboyant performers in the… Source link

Yahoo Plays and Lineup Strategy for Saturday, December 10

Yahoo Plays and Lineup Strategy for Saturday, December 10

Usually, Saturday is a busy day for the NHL. This week, though, it’s relatively light. Well, at least in the evening. Eschewing the three matinee games, there are five NHL games making up the main slate of DFS contests. Those are the games I am looking at with these recommendations. GOALIE Matt Murray, TOR vs. CGY ($36): This is a tough slate for goalies. Murray has been excellent though, posting a 2.34 GAA and .932 save percentage. The Flames haven’t been terrible, but at 3.08 goals per game… Source link

Yahoo Plays and Strategy for Thursday, December 8

The NBA brings a limited slate consisting of just three games Thursday. The night will tip off with the Heat playing the Clippers, who will be on the second leg of a back-to-back set. Two bad teams from Texas will then face off when the Spurs host the Rockets. Finally, the night will conclude with Damian Lillard and the Trail Blazers hosting Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets. Let’s break down some players to consider for your Yahoo lineups, as well as a few to possibly avoid. GUARDS Jalen Green,… Source link

Yahoo Plays and Strategy for Thursday, December 8

It’s a rather light Thursday in the NHL with only five games on tap. There are no teams playing on back-to-backs as Detroit travels to Florida, Los Angeles visits Toronto, Tampa Bay hosts Nashville, Winnipeg is in St. Louis and Ottawa faces the Stars in Dallas. Below, you’ll find suggested options for crafting an effective lineup. GOALIE Ilya Samsonov, TOR vs. LA ($33): Samsonov is finally having the season that pundits predicted when he was drafted in the first round (22nd overall) in 2015…. Source link

Yahoo Plays and Strategy for Tuesday, December 6

Yahoo Plays and Strategy for Tuesday, December 6

There won’t be a lot of action in the NBA with just three games on the schedule Tuesday. One of them is an underwhelming matchup between the Heat and Pistons. The Heat just played Monday, so don’t be surprised if they rest a starter or two against a far inferior foe. The Lakers are starting to heat up behind Anthony Davis, and they’ll have a difficult task ahead of them playing the Cavaliers in Cleveland. Finally, Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets will host Luka Doncic and the Mavericks. Let’s… Source link

Yahoo Plays and Lineup Strategy for Tuesday, December 6

The NHL made a list, which is to say a schedule. On the ice, players are checking more than twice. Nine teams are coming to various towns Tuesday, giving us nine games on the docket. Here are some players to target, and to avoid, for your DFS lineups. And no, I am not sure why I went with a Christmas-infused intro this far from the holiday. Sometimes you just lean into it. GOALIE Antti Raanta, CAR at ANA ($29): With Fredrik Andersen hurt, the goaltending in Carolina has been an issue. However,… Source link

Yahoo Plays and Strategy for Sunday, December 4

The amount of injuries over the last month has been painful to see, but the tide is starting to turn. Players like James Harden, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Damian Lillard, Pascal Siakam, Jimmy Butler, LeBron James and Khris Middleton have all been scheduled to return within the last week. That looks like an All-Star team roster, and it’s exciting to see so many great performers return to the floor. Only a few are in action today, but we still have plenty to discuss. Guards Ja Morant, MEM at… Source link

Yahoo Plays and Strategy for Saturday, December 3

This has been one of the strangest weeks of scheduling I’ve ever seen. We had almost every team in action on Monday, Wednesday and Friday but had virtually no one playing on Tuesday and Thursday. This is actually one of the few regular slates, with seven games making up this Saturday card. Unfortunately, only four make up the main slate beginning at 8ET. Nevertheless, there’s still plenty to discuss and numerous great options, so let’s get started with the greatest shooter of all time! Guards Source link
