Tesla stock is trading slightly higher in after hours following the EV maker reporting a Q4 earnings revenue and profit beat. In addition, the most significant news for Tesla’s 2023 roadmap is the upcoming Cybertruck is on track for production later this year. It was business as usual at Tesla’s (TSLA) annual meeting last night, peppered with commentary from CEO Elon Musk across a number of topics like car production, supply chain and pricing, and of course the status of the Cybertruck. Tesla will finally start selling the Cybertruck next year, Elon Musk has announced at the opening party for the company’s Giga Texas factory. During his presentation on stage, Musk showed off the production Cybertruck vehicle, which still looks like the previous versions, except its doors no longer have handles. The interest appears to be building for Ford’s first-ever all-electric F-150 dubbed the Lightning. Ford (F) has amassed 120,000 orders for the Lightning, CEO Jim Farley told investors on an earnings call Wednesday evening.
