Ex-Alabama QB Jay Barker arrested on felony assault charge

Former Alabama quarterback Jay Barker was arrested early Saturday morning on a felony assault charge after he allegedly tried to hit his estranged wife with a car. Barker was arrested by the Davidson County (Tennessee) Sheriff’s Office just after 4 a.m. on Saturday on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Former Las Vegas Raiders linebacker Vontaze Burfict, currently out of the NFL, has reportedly found trouble yet again. The NFL free agent was arrested early Saturday morning on a misdemeanor battery charge in Clark County, according to ESPN. The details of the alleged incident are reportedly unknown.
