Following an offseason of drama, the two sides reportedly came together on a massive $230.5 million contract extension Thursday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Jeff Gladney, a former first-round pick who played for the Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals, has died at age 25. According to Clarence Hill Jr. and Drew Davison of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Gladney died in a car accident. Both the Cardinals and Vikings confirmed his death on their official Twitter accounts Monday afternoon. When the Arizona Cardinals were 10-2, not everyone was convinced they were legit. It wasn’t necessarily fair at the time. The skepticism ended up being prescient.  The Cardinals had the type of collapse you won’t see too often in the NFL.
