Browns take kicker Cade York in 4th round

Browns take kicker Cade York in 4th round

It’s always a bit tricky, figuring out when to draft a punter or kicker. Those positions are obviously valuable. Ask a team that has a shaky kicker or a subpar punter how much angst that causes. The Cleveland Browns were the first team to jump into the kicker/punter pool. And it wasn’t the much-hyped San Diego State punter Matt Araiza. The Browns took LSU kicker Cade York in the fourth round, with the 124th overall pick. ESPN said that’s the highest a kicker has gone in the draft since …… Source link

Cade Cunningham finishes season No. 1

Cade Cunningham finishes season No. 1

It’s a three-man race for the top rookie honor. Evan Mobley, Cade Cunningham and Scottie Barnes are all deserving of Rookie of the Year for different reasons and it will be interesting to see which ways voters lean. Mobley was forced to sit out several games with an ankle injury to close out the season, but was incredible all season long. Cunningham started the season slow, coming off an injury of his own. Barnes averages the most minutes out of any rookie in the class (35.5), but has… Source link

Evan Mobley, Cade Cunningham lead top 5

In the beginning of the NBA season, it appeared to be a two-man race between Evan Mobley and Scottie Barnes for the rookie top honor, but now a few other players have entered the conversation. Jimmy Butler, Cade Cunningham ejections show refs’ flaws

It was a banner spell for NBA referees over the past week, who decided to dish out their version of law and order. First, it was No. 1 pick Cade Cunningham getting tossed after a highlight dunk and a point to his team’s bench as if to say, “Told y’all so.” Then a few days later, Jimmy Butler got rang up twice after unleashing on one official following an and-one, likely after a missed call on the previous end. Butler earned one technical for sure, but the second was called by a trail… Source link

Cade Cunningham tops deep class

The 2021 NBA draft class is one of the most talented and deepest in recent memory. There is a lot of potential star power at the top of the draft and plenty of long, playmaking guards projected to go in the first round. The McDonald’s All American game and Nike’s Hoop Summit were both canceled in 2020 so NBA scouts haven’t seen the top freshmen prospects in person yet. Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, NBA teams also can’t attend college practices this year giving a slight… Source link
