Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCLH) resumed operations for the first time in 18 months Sunday, with a 100% vaccination mandate for all guests and staff. (Bloomberg) — Former U.S. Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers said the Federal Reserve’s massive bond-buying program is resulting in a “bizarre” situation in which the government’s funding structure is overly focused on the short-term. Under its quantitative easing program, the Fed purchases longer-term Treasuries and the money it creates to buy them ends up in the accounts that banks hold with the central bank, in the form of overnight reserves. A tandem parasailer hovering just above the water surface of the Red Sea sustained injuries when a shark leaped out of the water and bit his foot in a bizarre attack in the Gulf of Aqaba. The incident occurred last Friday off the Jordanian port city of Aqaba, as reported by the Daily Mail and The U.S. Sun. Eugene Chung has a decade of coaching experience, a Super Bowl ring and years of experience as an NFL offensive lineman, but he still reportedly found himself dumbfounded by an interview with an NFL team this offseason. The former Philadelphia Eagles assistant offensive line coach told the Boston Globe’s Nicole Yang that a job interview with the unnamed team took a bizarre turn when the interviewer allegedly interrupted Chung’s pitch with a point of contention about his race. People have been left baffled by what appears to be a ship floating in the air, as it hangs above the water.  British man David Morris snapped a photo of the ship in waters off the coast of Cornwall in England’s southwest, capturing the rare optical illusion.
