Free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was kicked off a plane Sunday after the flight crew reportedly observed him “coming in and out of consciousness,” according to Miami-Dade police. The crew feared Beckham was seriously ill after trying to wake him to put on his seatbelt, and that his condition would worsen during the flight, so they called for police and a fire crew. Odell Beckham Jr.‘s dad was right, after all.  Beckham’s time with the Cleveland Browns lacked many big plays and ended in a messy way, after a rift with quarterback Baker Mayfield that included Beckham’s dad posting a video of how often his son was open but didn’t get the ball. The jury’s still out on whether Odell Beckham Jr. is the answer the Los Angeles Rams need. But four games in, the move from Cleveland to Los Angeles sure looks like a win for Beckham. Teams will have until 4 p.m. ET to submit a claim for the recently-released Beckham and the $7.25 million remaining on his 2021 salary.
