(Bloomberg) — Amazon.com Inc. shares fell sharply on Monday, taking the e-commerce giant into negative territory for the year, as a sustained rise in Treasury yields is hurting the earnings outlook for companies with high valuations. Chromecasts and other devices powered by Google TV might give users access to free television channels in the future. According to Protocol, Google has been in talks with free, ad-supported streaming television providers about the possibility of adding their channels to its smart TV platform. After weeks of rumors, the Big 12 will add BYU, UCF, Houston and Cincinnati in a league vote on Friday. The news was first reported by Pete Thamel of Yahoo and then Brett McMurphy of Action Network. The three American schools are obligated to provide two years of notice to leave the conference and a $10 million exit fee. But a host of reports say the schools will play in the Big 12 in 2023. Google’s latest home security cameras ditch the aging Nest app and focus solely on the Google Home app, but what about users with older cameras too?
