U.S. stocks opened lower Tuesday morning to start the holiday-shortened week in the red as investors continued to monitor tensions between Russia and Ukraine and await the Kremlin’s next move.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 252 points, or 0.74%, to 33,826.86, while the S&P 500 dipped 0.66% to 4,320.30. The Nasdaq Composite shed 0.92%, or 130 points, to 13,420.79.
